Dog Walking
WEST COAST DOG WALKING will pick up your dog from home or elsewhere by arrangement in our fully customised van to be transported to a safe walking environment.
Dogs are walked for between 45 min to 1 hour excluding travel time. You will have to provide a suitable lead for your dog and they will only be allowed off the lead with your consent. Dogs will be towel dried before they are returned.
We also offer shorter walks/gentle stroll of around 20 mins designed for older dogs and dogs with walking difficulties.
We provide a one to one walking service for anti social dogs provided they are friendly towards humans.
Bitches in season are not accepted in our dog walking service. All dogs must be fully up to date with all vaccinations.
Toilet Break
We provide a pit stop for your pet where we visit your pet in your home, feed, water and allow your dog to go for a toilet break for 20 mins in your own garden or nearby place of your choice.
We will also clean up any mess left in the garden.
Pet Taxi
You may prefer to keep your car clean from dog hairs or may not have the time to take your pet where it needs to go. You may not drive and taxi drivers are sometimes very reluctant to carry pets in their vehicles.
We provide a pet taxi service whether it be transporting your pet to and from the vets, kennels or grooming parlour etc.

Boarding
Going away overnight? Why not let your dog come and stay in our house with us, our home has a secure garden.
We provide a full dog boarding service which is an excellent alternative to putting your dog in kennels whilst you are away on holiday or on business.
We will provide your dog with a short early morning and evening walk, plus 1 walk per day using our dog walking service (which is included in the price) to make sure your dog is getting looked after correctly, and is getting the daily exercise it requires. Instead of missing you they’ll look forward to their own little getaway.
Providing your dog’s own bedding, toys and chews, plus something you have worn that smells familiar will help your dog to relax and settle much faster.
Standardized food is never welcome by dogs in strange environments therefore we ask that owners provide their dog’s usually preferred food.
(Please note this is a popular and unique service with limited availability so we do require a non-refundable 50% deposit at the time of booking).
Day Care
Facilities are provided for those who work long hours and wish their pet to be walked, played with and have company during the day.
Small Pet Care
We provide a small pet care service whilst you are away on holiday or business. We have full boarding facilities, which includes indoor rabbit and guinea pig hutches plus outdoor pens. However space is limited, so it is necessary to book early to avoid disappointment.
Owner’s must provide their pets preferred food.
Please note that all animals are kept separately and are never mixed together, unless they come from the same home. Hamsters, mice, chinchillas, rats and birds, etc need to be brought in their own cages.
Pickups/drop offs are available if required, please telephone to make arrangements.
Keys
When you leave your keys with us you can rest assured that only a trusted, police vetted individual will have access to your property.
We can retain your keys on file or you can choose to have them returned, in which case you can contact us when you return home to make the necessary arrangements.
If you choose to keep your keys on file with us we are only a phone call away in an emergency situation. You may be delayed at work or called away urgently.
We will keep your keys coded and locked in a key box. Your address or phone number will not be kept on the key, and the list of identifying codes will be kept in a separate place.
Puppy Care
When you work, it's often difficult to provide the right level of care for your puppy.
Help is at hand.
WEST COAST DOG WALKING will agree with you a schedule of home visits that provides the level of care that suits you and your puppy.
We can provide two 20 min visits per day to clean up after your
puppy let them out in your garden and feed them.
Cat and Small Animal Visiting
Cats don’t often cope very well with being moved to a cattery whilst you are away. So why not let your cat stay in the comfort of its own home and surroundings. We can visit once or twice a day whatever you desire.
We will feed your cat, freshen the water, clean out the litter tray and provide cuddles or play if your cat enjoys such activities.
Not only will your cat be able to stay at home and be well cared for but we can also keep an eye on your home, and remember we are police vetted and completely trustworthy. We are happy to lift mail, open/close curtains, turn on/off lights, water plants and put bins out - something you don’t get when you send your cat to a cattery.
We haven’t forgotten about your other pets! We can visit once or twice a day, rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas and any other small animals you may have, depending on your requirements.
